Enhancing and Extending Mathematical Thinking and Learning Through Inquiry
The aim of the project was to help enhance mathematical thinking in our students through inquiry, meaningful instruction and purposeful play. We wanted to help develop their growth mindset to help set a foundation for future mathematical development.

Geotricity 3.0 (A Continuation of TLC-16-149)
Geotricity 3.0 provides transdisciplinary learning through STEM and geography connecting students with their community in real-life application of problem-based learning. Students and teachers increased collaboration and learning through GAFE.

Embedding Literacy in Math
A cross-curricular connection between language and math using guided reading kits, providing a real-life context to support the deepening of conceptual understanding in mathematics.

Using Co-operative Learning and Vertical Non-Permanent Surfaces to Enhance 21st Century Learning in Junior Classrooms
Using both Peter Liljedahl’s thinking classroom framework and the Johnson’s co-operative learning structure, we hoped to merge both to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where ALL learners gained relevant new skills.
