The aim of the project was to help enhance mathematical thinking in our students through inquiry, meaningful instruction and purposeful play. We wanted to help develop their growth mindset to help set a foundation for future mathematical development.

To use outdoor education as a means to foster an appreciation for and develop a greater understanding of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit people’s culture, way of life (past/present) and traditional teachings as the original keepers of the land.

Adding rigor to STEAM to make STREAM. STEAM has become increasingly popular over the past few years with a lot of emphasis on creating design tasks that are current, innovative and relevant. Our investigation seeks to add rigour to maximize learning.
