This resource provides a continuum from kindergarten to grade 3 of rich, problem-based math questions. The questions created were based on a review of available research and literature, and were field-tested in classrooms. These questions are open-ended and differentiated in order to have all students participate. This resource supports teachers in developing a thorough understanding of problem-based questioning, the big ideas in mathematics across kindergarten and primary grade levels, and a more thorough understanding of the mathematics curriculum.
