In this session, participants will explore the concept of learning trajectories. They will begin to:
- Connect the LT (2) site mathematical learning trajectories to Ontario mathematics curriculum expectations (learning goals/targets)
- Use videos to assess and place their students on mathematics learning trajectories which lead to a mathematics curriculum expectation
- Use the LT (2) site to select and target individual, small, and large group activities which will help students move along their trajectories and achieve the curriculum expectations
- Connect to each other for continuing support in an online virtual Community of Practice created for them on the TeachOntario site
- Use a few additional resources to solve problems/fill gaps related to the site (e.g., LT2 tech support, Learning and Teaching Early Math: The Learning Trajectories Approach, 2nd edition; Taking Shape: Activities to Develop Geometric and Spatial Thinking, and Illuminations Interactives K-2)
