In this webinar, participants will be looking at an inquiry cycle based on the phases of guided inquiry from the Ontario Library Association’s Together for Learning. Using a Knowledge Building Centre (KBC) template created using Google Sites as an online framework, we can model an inquiry cycle where students develop questions, investigate information, synthesize understanding and express their new-found knowledge in an engaging, collaborative online space.
KBCs will be featured that explore First Nations, social justice and responsible citizenship with an environmental focus. Apps such as Linoit, Scoop It, Padlet and Symbaloo (to name just a few) will be explored as additional tools to support the inquiry process.
