On February 21-22, OTF and the Ontario Association of Deans of Education (OADE) hosted the very successful conference, Creating circles of hope in teacher education. The conference opened with “The power of the circle” led by Jim Adams, Red Bear. Keynote speaker, Lee Maracle, author and poet, spoke of using aboriginal teachings and themes to inform our thinking about preparing beginning teachers.
