Resources Used
2-way mirror that was the same size as the monitor. This was ordered from a local glass shop.
Monitor (a basic 32″ TV). We used an inexpensive model from Best Buy (link to exact model included), but any TV would work.
The MagicMirror2 site was used for examples and inspiration of another similar project to our own. This project did not contain touch interface information but it was still very helpful.
Touch sensors for a 32″ monitor. These were used to add touch functionality to the screen. These were ordered from an overseas supplier for cost reasons.
The following site has many different tech-related projects, including a Magic Mirror project. We used it for reference as well as inspiration.
