This project explored the Brightspace Portfolio by D2L as a tool for educators and students to use for pedagogical documentation and to support collaboration amongst all educators, students and families.

“Anchors” Away!
Through exploration of Rekenreks and Ten Frames, students will develop early numeracy fluency/skills using proportional thinking. The use of these two tools will allow students to develop a deeper understanding of number concepts and relationships.

Learn, Share, Challenge, Create – Micro-Robotics as a Hub in a Student-Led Inquiry Community
Students are excited by new technologies – especially when they follow their commands! We are looking to leverage this engagement as the foundation for community-building and deep learning.

Learning Beyond the Brick Walls
This project was undertaken to explore nature and to increase our knowledge and use of the outdoors and our local conservation area with our FDK program. We wanted to implement changes to the physical space and gather outdoor teaching resources.

Integrating Technology into School to Community Classrooms
To enhance our Special Education K-coded programming with the use of smart technology, applications, assistive special education (SEA – Special Education Allotment) computer programs, and to continue collaboration among TLC and school teams.
