Building on the foundations of writing instruction established in Writing, Part 1, this course applies critical perspectives to the design and delivery of curriculum and assessment in the classroom. Theory and practices continue to be linked and examined in relation to the teacher’s own practices. Self- reflection and professional dialogue remain central to the learning. Candidates broaden and deepen their understanding of Writing instruction in the Ontario classroom through developing critical perspectives on Writing curriculum and assessment in relation to planning, delivery and communications.
