This course provides studio workshop experience in media processes and design with potential relationships for school programs and teaching strategies. Issues of creating classroom safe environments and liability implications will be discussed. You will acquire an awareness of art in every day life, industry, commerce, and promotion as well as methods of exhibition and public relations. Authentic assessment and performance evaluation will be a particular focus as will the selection of resource materials and supplies. You will explore the theory to practice issues in visual arts. You will plan programs for your particular divisional level including methods for the development of awareness of the historical dimension, the utilization of community resources and the integration of art with other disciplines.
