This course is designed to further develop the knowledge and skills necessary for the design, delivery and assessment of English as a Second Language programs in a more in-depth level of exploration. English as a Second Language Part 2 will include practical learning experiences that will assist candidates in making the connections between theory and practice. Candidates will have the opportunity to explore, in an integrated delivery model, topics and issues of particular relevance to their teaching circumstance.
Prerequisites:
- Successful completion of the Additional Qualification course: English as a Second Language, Part 1; and
- One year of successful teaching experience, certified by a supervisory officer.
