This course will extend, develop and apply the understanding and knowledge obtaining upon completion of Part 1 theories and models in the design, delivery, programming, and assessment of special education. It focuses on learning disabilities in more detail and emphasizes classroom management and maintaining an inclusionary design.

Prerequisites
- Hold a “Certificate of Qualification” showing basic qualifications in two divisions, i.e. Primary, Junior, Intermediate, or Senior.
- “Certificate of Qualification” must be in good standing.
- Completion of AQ Special Education, Part 1.
- Confirmation of Teaching Experience form, signed by a supervisory officer, confirming one year of teaching experience completed after teacher’s certification. This form must be received prior to the start date of the course.
