Religious Education in Catholic Schools – Parts I, II and Specialist AQs (DPCDSB, Winter/Spring 2018)

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is a provider with the Ontario College of Teachers. This fall, we will be offering the Additional Qualification courses in Religious Education in Catholic Schools, Parts II and Specialist (subject to minimum enrolment).​

Location: St. Edmund Campion S.S., 275 Brisdale Drive, Brampton, ON L7A 3C7​

Time: All classes run from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Course Fees: Part II and Specialist – $650
Internal candidates may pay by payroll deduction, credit card, cheque or cash.

Application is via PD place for internal applicants:

  • Part II – inservice #6509
  • ​Specialist (Part III) – inservice #6510

External applicants are asked to manually complete the Application Form and send it in to Shelagh Peterson, Religious Education Coordinator, Dufferin-Peel.

All applicants will need to submit:

  • A copy of their College of Teachers qualifications
  • A copy a superintendent signed experience form for Parts II and Specialist (for internal candidates, the paperwork will be distributed on the first night of the course)

Dates: 
There will be a total of 20 classes (75 hours face to face), plus 25 online hours and 25 assignment hours for a total of 125 hours.
