Course Description
Introduction to language processes of reading and writing. Basic assessment procedures and improvement of reading skills.
Learner Outcomes
- Critically explore and interpret Ontario’s curriculum, policies, frameworks, strategies and guidelines for teaching reading
- Analyze and integrate learning theories and the individual strengths, styles and needs of learners
- Collaborate with colleagues and reflected upon learning throughout this course to help develop and/or support a strong reading program for learners

OCT MEMBERSHIP with qualifications in Primary, Junior, Intermediate or Senior.
