Mood disorders (like depression) are one of the most common types of mental health challenges experienced by children and youth. Often mood disorders can be difficult to notice. Learn to recognize and proactively support this mental health concern.
– Recognize mental health challenges and behavioural warning signs related to mood disorders.
– Learn to teach the proactive skills and competencies to support your students’ well-being and awareness of mood disorders from mental health and education experts.
– Participate in discussion and idea exchange with other teachers, workers, and childcare professionals to discover how to apply preventative mental health approaches to your classroom.
