The Senior ABQ in Mathematics focuses on the curriculum in secondary school mathematics courses. The two strands of this course are the curriculum content and new trends of teaching and assessing mathematics for adolescent and senior learners. Through these two strands, participants examine how adolescent and senior students best learn mathematics, alternative assessment strategies and content issues. As well, candidates investigate learning theories and how they relate to mathematics. Individually and in groups, candidates explore new trends in the teaching of senior mathematics and alternative assessment strategies. Please website for additional information.
