Building on the knowledge gained in the part 2 Kindergarten course, early years teachers will learn how to: demonstrate leadership in program development aimed at producing exemplary all day programs; build teacher capacity; and advocate for early childhood programs with stakeholders.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites for Specialist:
- Completion of Part 1 and Part 2:
Evidence of the completion of Part 1 and Part 2 as shown on your Certificate of Qualification. It is no longer necessary to send in a copy of your Certificate of Qualification. We have access to this information via the OCT Public Registry. - Certificate of Teaching Experience – 2 Years:
Evidence of at least two (2) years of successful teaching experience, including one (1) year of experience in the subject in which the qualification is being sought. This experience must be certified by the appropriate Supervisory Officer on the ‘OISE Certification of Teaching Experience Form’.
