The Junior Specialist course extends the strong foundation and understanding related to the vision and underlying philosophy related to Junior Education. There is a focus on leadership in instruction and assessment in the junior division. The course is designed to support the development of leadership skills and knowledge desired by junior teachers.
Prerequisites:
- Successful completion of the Additional Qualification course: Junior Education, Part 2; and
- Two years of successful teaching experience with 1 year in the Junior division certified by a supervisory officer.
