The primary purpose of Guidance and Career Education Part 1 is to provide candidates with the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in the design, delivery and assessment of the Guidance program. The course is an introduction to basic counselling and communication skills, interpersonal and human relation skills and awareness of the legal and ethical responsibilities for guidance programs and counsellors.
