Feedback that Works

June 27, 2016 to November 12, 2024

  • Category: Workshop
  • Region: GTA
  • Topic: Teacher Development
  • Grades: Intermediate (grades 7-10), Senior (grades 11-12)

Do you feel that the feedback process is often stressful for both you and your students? Are your students equally frustrated with the feedback process? If this seems all too familiar to you, join Jennifer Goldberg as she outlines how to deliver feedback that works for you and your students.
Having spent two years researching what kinds of feedback yields the best results for student learning and teacher investment, Jennifer knows that feedback speaks to the essence of education. Yet, so much of it, at least the formal part, is both students’ and teachers’ least favourite aspect of schooling.

Attendees will leave the session with several classroom-ready assessment tools, teaching resources and concrete feedback strategies.
