This workshop will provide a comprehensive understanding of how to work with the approximately 100 billion neurons that form an individual’s brain. As these neurons help us make decisions, knowledge of how they work can help Learning Support Specialists better support children with learning challenges. In particular, Dr. Deak will focus on explaining why particular behaviours occur and what strategies are effective in supporting and motivating children.
