Course Purpose & Enrolment Pre-Requisite
The Cooperative Education Part 1 AQ Course introduces candidates to the basic roles, responsibilities, foundations and skills associated with experiential learning and, in particular, Cooperative Education programs. It is open to all elementary or secondary teachers who have a basic qualification in general studies or technological studies.
Cooperative Education teachers work in partnership with subject-specific teachers, the business community and others at the local, regional and provincial levels to create curriculum opportunities and programs that enable and promote student achievement in a variety of content areas
Prerequisites
- An undergraduate degree acceptable to the Ontario College of Teachers
- Be a member in good standing with the OCT
