What is a classroom blog and how can teachers effectively use blogging to make learning visual while building relationships with parents and a variety of learning partnerships, both locally and globally.
In this “hands on” workshop we will explore how teachers can use blogging with students to make learning interactive, both in the classroom and internationally through project based learning. We will briefly demonstrate how to set up a class blog. We will also demonstrate how teachers can blog and maintain relationships with classes throughout the world through projects such as Teddy Bear Projects, International Learning Circles and other projects.
We will introduce several blogging features and integrate other communication tools such as Facebook and Twitter.
Join us to begin the process of connecting your class to others through blogging!
