Google Sites is a simple, versatile, accessible and collaborative website creation tool which is accessible to anyone with a Google (gmail) account, as well as to students of all ages through Google Apps for Education. In this webinar, we will discuss the purposes and advantages of student created websites, look at examples, then walk you through the steps of setting up and editing/personalizing your own website. We will explore options for sharing and privacy settings, and discuss the significance of student owned content in the building of their personal digital profile. You will also receive a link to an instructional site specifically created to support students and teachers in their use of Google Sites.
