To best facilitate a student-centred problem-solving classroom, teachers must have a deep and flexible understanding of the math concepts to be addressed. Join the conversation in which we will unpack the expectations and discuss what the math is really about. We will also examine student work to recognize evidence of a developing understanding (strengths and weaknesses) and the next steps we would want to encourage so as to improve student skill and understanding.
