Google Slides has recently released an audience participation feature. This allows audience members to pose questions and interact digitally. In addition to the interactive features, we will also look at how some people use Google Slides to create books (digital or for printing). Are you ready to collaborate virtually? Google Hangouts and Google Hangouts On Air are used by classes to help them connect with other classes, with experts and to record learning and reflections. We will review the two tools, highlight the process for setting them up and running a hangout. Lastly, we will discuss and share best practices and ideas for breaking down the walls in our classrooms while making use of tools like Google Hangouts.
