Employers and workers often do not recognize domestic violence as a workplace hazard. This session, based on the program Make It Our Business (MIOB), will not only help you recognize it but also know how to respond and how to refer victims and abusers to appropriate supports. Communicate effectively with employees or co-workers at risk. Set up effective safety measures. And much more. This session is presented by Barb MacQuarrie, Community Director, Centre for Research and Education on Violence Against Women and Children.
