Music – Vocal: PJ – Part 1 provides teachers with a foundation of knowledge and skills as they relate to vocal music. It is an introductory course focusing on the theory and practices of vocal music education.
Music – Vocal: PJ – Part 2 extends and reinforces the knowledge and skills learned in Part 1. Candidates will continue to explore the use of curriculum documents, teaching pedagogy and resources and increase their understanding of child development and instructional skill. Theory, discussion and application of effective teaching practices culminate in a practical teaching project.
