Exploring Financial Literacy and Number Sense by having students play games that require making investment decisions, acquiring resources, bartering and selling items. By constructing their own knowledge of debt and credit, students will get a sense for positive and negative integers through deductions, interest owed, and interest accrued. Teachers can assess through observation, conversation and the direct results of the students ability to be successful in the games.
