This session is an opportunity for junior and intermediate mathematics teachers to explore how tweaking their question and using collaborative classroom strategies can build deeper conceptual understandings in number sense. Using the Critical Thinking Consortium’s approach to powerful questioning in the mathematics classroom, this webinar will support teachers in a collaborative process of considering the research, instructional strategies, classroom ideas, and attitudes that deepen number sense and support achievement in elementary mathematics.
