iPads and other personal devices are being used more and more to support student learning and assessment. This webinar focuses on helping students become more actively involved in the assessment process by being able to focus on their descriptive feedback, make changes to their work based on their feedback and share their learning process through the use of digital portfolios. Discussion also addresses the use of digital portfolios created by students and made easily accessible to students through their personal devices. Not only should this bridge the home to school connection with students and parents by allowing students to share their assessment process in its entirety (i.e. from assignment outline to descriptive feedback to final assessment); it allow students to create a digital archive of their work.
