This course provides the teacher with the opportunity to examine current theory and practice related to the content and pedagogy of teaching English. Through current research, small and large group discussions, workshops, group seminars and self-directed projects, candidates will acquire the skills and knowledge to facilitate the development and implementation of English and Language Arts programs, and explore the leadership skills necessary in the management of an English program in a division, department, or school.
