The emphasis in this AQ course focuses on the development and implementation of program design for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Candidates come to this AQ program with an interest in this area and a desire to enhance their professional practice, extend their knowledge and skills in the design and delivery of related programs, and extend their knowledge and skills about teaching students identified with Autism. Critical to the implementation of this course is the creation of positive learning experiences that reflect care, professional knowledge, ethical practice, leadership and ongoing learning.
