Using a Grade 10 English narrative unit as an example, we’ll explore how teachers might use online tools to deliver a media-literacy-integrated approach to the English curriculum? Using students’ prior knowledge and Google apps, teachers can manage a narrative unit that helps students understand and appreciate story codes and conventions and the roles that stories play in their lives. The focus of this session will be finding ways to use online environments effectively.
