This course focuses on you as a teacher leader. In this course, you will consolidate this cycle of growth, development, and research of your expertise in guidance and counselling. You will focus on the issues that prepare teachers for leadership at a department/division, school and system level. Issues such as integrating guidance into the school curriculum, working collaboratively with other departments, program development, delivery and evaluation, group methods in guidance, school organization to support a vibrant guidance program, and the design of research-informed school-wide programs will be discussed. This course will also help you to continue the refinement of your personal style as a guidance counsellor and as part of the school’s leadership team, as you focus on the changing roles given current direction in Ontario and the changing legal impacts on the responsibilities of counsellors.  Please visit website for additional information.
