Online tools offer educators an opportunity to engage students while capturing their learning, going beyond the traditional evaluation of products and enabling conversations and observations to provide a more complete vision regarding what individual students know and how they can demonstrate their learning. In this session teachers will be introduced to a variety of (free) online tools that are easy to learn and adapt into any subject area. We will explore online tools where opinions can be shared, resources posted, student and teacher videos can be created, portfolios can be housed, and prior knowledge can be curated. Sit down, strap in and prepare yourself for 90 minutes of intense, applicable learning!
