This webinar will help prepare educators to use inquiry-based learning with their students using a gradual release of responsibility, empowering students to make the decisions which will drive their own learning. Teachers, using a variety of web-based tools, will have an opportunity to explore examples and assignments which already use the inquiry process and to share how they might utilize inquiry in their own classroom. In this webinar, participants will be learning to infuse the inquiry process into their classes, courses, units of study, assignments and lessons, shift (some or all) aspects of the inquiry process to students, allowing learners to drive and manage their learning, and to reflect on how students can not only choose how they demonstrate their learning, but also select an authentic audience for their work.
