With the implementation of the revised FSL curriculum now well underway, an ongoing struggle for classroom teachers is how to increase student proficiency in the target language. Working with communication goals instead of isolated structures, teachers are striving to develop confidence and real-world language with students. How can we scaffold the necessary skills and provide effective feedback to accomplish these goals?
In this webinar, participants will be learning to use Assessment as Learning as a tool for developing proficiency in their FSL students. We will examine ways to provide effective and timely feedback that is also meaningful, with both technology and “low tech” options explored. This session will be conducted largely in French and participants will be encouraged to share their own best practices during discussion.
