The session is for educators who teach Kindergarten to Grade Three students. The learning goals in this session will be:
- to gain ideas about how to teach through and about Media Literacy
- explore how to use the eight key concepts in a kindergarten and primary classrooms
- share ideas for integrating Media Literacy into other curricular areas
Participants will take away ideas for implementing provocations with a media literacy focus, inspiration for integrating media literacy into your science and social studies curriculum and unique and creative ways to use online tools such as Google Hangouts to complete dynamic projects with students and collaborate with one another.
