As teachers of the elementary grades we all like to pride ourselves on our own “bag of tricks” that seem to work for us in the teaching and learning of mathematics. Yet we are constantly searching for new ideas, techniques and strategies to improve our practice – anything that will help us reach all learners and empower them to value and understand the mathematics that we teach.
