Dramatic Arts Senior examines leadership in applying theory and developing innovative practice of drama in grades 11 and 12. The course explores designing and delivering student-centered drama programs which focus on personal development, societal awareness and artistic expression, enhancement of teaching skills and development of innovative, consultative processes among drama teachers.
Prerequisites
- Certificate of Qualification:
Must be registered with the Ontario College of Teachers or hold an interim Certificate of Qualification. Must hold an acceptable university degree or equivalent. It is no longer necessary to send in a copy of your Certificate of Qualification. We have access to this information via the OCT Public Registry. - 2 Full University Degree Credits in the Subject:Official transcript(s) showing proof of successful completion of a minimum of 2.0 university degree credits in Drama or Theatre (some English credits may be considered).ORIntermediate Basic Qualification in Dramatic Arts in lieu of 2.0 university degree credits.Note: Relevant experience will no longer be accepted.
