The Ontario Teachers’ Federation (OTF) represents all teachers in Ontario’s publicly funded schools.

It is the unifying voice safeguarding their profession, pensions and public education.

This is a mandate that OTF has met for 65 years.

OTF represents approximately 155,000 teachers in Ontario’s publicly-funded schools. Created by the Teaching Profession Act, 1944, OTF has four affiliate organizations: l’Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens (AEFO), the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO), the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF)
